Preparing for your Stay

  • RESERVATIONS

Fill out the handy form on our Contact Us page to inquire about boarding. You can also email info@breezyacres.com or call (513-474-2222). We will get back in touch to set up a reservation if we have availability.

  • VACCINATIONS

Ensure your dog is up-to-date on all required vaccinations and either email (info@breezyacres.com) or fax (1-866-745-9436) proof of these to us. Dogs arriving without proof of the following required vaccinations will not be allowed to board.

    • Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (DHLP), and Bordetella.

  • OVERNIGHT BAG

Optional items to bring (we strongly encourage labeling everything you leave with us and discourage bringing items of significant monetary or sentimental value):

FOOD: Please bring food in a sealed container labeled with your dog’s name and feeding schedule including amount (scoops in the exact serving size are helpful). We will provide food at no extra charge if you do not bring your own. Please do not bring bowls unless your dog requires a special set-up. We use sturdy, stainless steel bowls for food and water.

MEDICATIONS: Label medicine with your dog’s name, details of administration and ensure there is an adequate supply to last their whole stay. If your dog has been recently sick, suffers from a chronic illness or is elderly, consult your vet to ensure they are well enough for a kennel stay.

BEDDING: We provide a fiberglass bench for each dog. You are welcome to bring your dog’s bed or blanket as long as it is washable. Dogs occasionally chew or soil their bedding when boarding, so we recommend against bringing expensive beds.

TOYS: You are welcome to bring toys. Please don’t bring any items that are sharp or can be ingested.

  • DROP OFF

At drop off, pull all the way through the white gate and park on the blacktop. Dogs must be leashed at all times. The kennel entrance is next to the parking area just beyond the large oak tree (if you’re driving or walking on gravel, you have gone the wrong way) and features a Breezy Acres Kennels sign. Enter through the blue door and ring the bell on the desk. We are often in the back taking care of dogs, and will be with you as soon as we can.
